Zeitgeist Bring-a-Friend Day – Z-Day 2014 presentations & discussions

During our last monthly movies, TZM Brisbane participants had a minimum-opposition vote on a very different and exciting schedule for May’s catch up.

Join The Zeitgeist Movement as we come together to recap on the globally celebrated Z-Day. Together we will watch 4 to 5 20-minute Z-Day presentations from all over the world. Each presentation will have discussion time afterwards which will be lead by our friendly TZM coordinators.

This is a perfect opportunity if you’d like to learn more about a Resource-Based Economy, or if you’d like to learn more about what’s happening in the movement locally, nationally and globally… and if you’d like to be more involved. It’s a great way to connect with others and is sure to open your mind! If you are a regular to Monthly Movies, this month we encourage you to bring along a friend this month.

The event will be held in the Brisbane Square Library in the Community Meeting Room free of charge.
Bring your flash drive/external hard drive along if you wish to share resources. We look forward to seeing you there!

Open Source is for everyone – Throw the apple out the coloured windows

Many Geisters agree that transparency and free information are important for a sustainable future. Software, blueprints for hardware, educational material and other information products can easily be provided in abundance. We want to discuss what is already available in the open source culture, how we can use it and what we could expect in the future.
