Monthly Movies that Matter – Crisis in Masculinity

From July onwards, Monthly Movies That Matter (MMTM) will be on the third Saturday of every month.

At each MMTM, we have a minimal opposition vote on which movie we will watch next time. At the last MMTM, the winner of the minimal opposition vote was “Tough Guise”.

A two minute teaser for the film can be found here:

The event is free of charge.

There will be a few short videos about masculinity and some discussion before showing Tough Guise, which runs for about an hour. Depending on the length of discussions, the event will probably finish up between 1700 and 1800.

It’s a great opportunity to connect with like-minded people, make friends and have a great time. At the same time, having meaningful discussions that will have a positive impact on our future.

After the event, we will move on from the library to a nearby restaurant, where we can eat and socialise some more. The restaurant for this month hasn’t been decided yet but I’ll update this space once it has. You are welcome to skip the movie and join us for dinner if you like.
